Well Newlyweds help her in the music career, but now Jessica's main thing is the acting and her movies, she is a good actress but the singer is better, I think she needs songs with collaborations with famous singers and dance songs like A Public Affair, i think These Boots Are Made for Walkin' was the big hit of her.

Dating Ashlee Simpson has its perks. People sing to you at gas pumps. For real, not pre-recorded. Ash and Fall Out Boyfriend Pete Wentz hit up Parc last night, and while Petey drove them around in a dirty Land Rover, Ashlee paid the bills. After leaving the club, Simpson went through her Prada purse to pay the valet, and later scraped the bag for cash to give to a homeless man -- who serenaded Wentz at a gas station pump.

Ashlee Simpson and a rock group, Fall Out Boy, leader Pete Wentz are so inseparable that Pete does not want to be apart from her, says a band insider. Fans wonder if Ashlee is distracting him from his career and could be the reason why Fall Out Boy postponed its current tour reports Star Magazine.
Some people compare Ashlee to Yoko Ono, who was blamed for the Beatles break up in 1970. Pete told the band that he wants Ashlee to accompany him on the tour. The band was not pleased of the news, says the insider. Pete’s current concentration is on Ashlee and on a new NYC’s bar that he is opening soon, instead of his band. Pete and Ashlee have been seen everywhere around L.A., from pre-Grammy party to the T-Mobile Sidekick party in Hollywood. At the T-Mobile party Ashlee would not leave Pete alone, a source tells Star magazine. She seems to be in love with him and knowing Pete he is more important to Pete to be happy with his personal life then to be a rock star, says the insider. Meanwhile, the pop rock singer-songwriter and actress insists that her favorite type of man would be a surfer.

We got a sneak peek at the photoshoot, which might even turn into a thirty second tv commercial. As for Ashlee, she tells PEOPLE that she's "honored to be the new generation (of Skechers). For me, I always want to come across with a funky, cool style that girls can relate to. So hopefully I can bring my style to it." And is it weird for the singer to see herself as a model? Not at all, says Ashlee. "It's so cool to have an ad in a magazine! When I'm flipping thru a magazine I love, I say 'Oh, cool! There I am!' It's a good feeling."

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer had their first real fight when John mistook a picture of Ashlee Simpson for Jess. According to News.com.au, the happy couple was flipping through old photos when John asked how old a picture was of Jess, just before realizing (by the look on Jessica's face) that the picture wasn't of her but was of her look-alike sister, Ashlee. According to the source, Jess was furious at the situation and has been on rough terms with her sister Ashlee ever since she transformed her look.
After Ashlee underwent extreme plastic surgery there was no denying that the Ash looked almost identical to her older sister. The once unique look that Ashlee had faded and she became a replica of her sister, Jess. Since Ashlee's transformation, Jess has had a makeover of her own. The 26 year old singer traded in her signature blonde locks for a darker look and has put on a few healthy pounds. It was clear that Jessica changed her look to eliminate the rumrs that her and Ashlee were practically spitting images of eachother.
As the sibling rivalry continues between Ashlee and Jessica, it's only in Mayer's best interest to stay out of it.And, unless he's absolutely sure that a picture is of Jess (and not her younger sister), he should probably keep his lips buttoned. Jessica has nothing to worry about anyways. Whether she has dark hair, blonde hair or gains a few pounds or loses a few pounds, there's no denying that Jess is the prettier sister.
