i am working on judge the entries
btw, my main points of score are
- It is must be defined 2012 (and if you send it an artist, make sure the song is the highlight of the artist in 2012)
- i really appreciate people that choose unexpected song
- And of course my taste is considered (don't worry i actually like most of the genres )

I definitely know this was mine. Most people either like it or hate it, but its Very iconic and will be remembered moreso for the hype around the song

With this "best video" of 2012 title, it defined one of the standout tracks in 2012 enough. great choice jomarr!

Skyfall might be not that popular as "someone like you" or "rolling in the deep" but she made one of the best soundtrack in 2012 (imo is the best soundtrack of 2012)

But, i don't think this song have a great success in 2012, it was just moderate. and i guess this theme is about which song is really defined what 2012 is. I guess this case is little bit opposite of fiercE's One More Night imo.

This is one of those songs that people can relate to from Katy and this song will make an impact on people's minds and hearts. It doesn't need to be featured in commercials or music to make an impact. Katy made an impact with this song and it will continue to make impact.

IMO, this song success is a fluke. But I still love (old) Maroon 5, but this song is by far my least favorite song from them. though i still giving you points for what this song can achieve in 2012 (including the no.1 song that they can reach)

@MLD These songs you chose are like decades ago, the competition was about which song can be represented as staple in future which is difficult to chose since the music in 2012 sucks.
