And anybody who thinks L.A.M.B is urban obviously has not listened to it. The whole record is all Dance, Electronic, and New Wave. It's credited as one of the albums that brought dance mainstream. The most urban song on the album is "Luxurious". Gwen herself had said that she purposely wanted to go another direction instead of urban, and wanted to do dance.

Well, in terms of diversity, I think there was about the same amount of non urban material. So there wasn't exactly like a change in that. But I do think the urban material in 2005 was a bit more crossover in general so I can see where you're coming from.
And I know about Gwen's intentions and the overall sound of that album, but in terms of what actually impacted radio the hardest, most of it was the more urban stuff. So I probably wouldn't say that album really had an impact in changing things into becoming more electronic on radio. It was probably ahead of its time though.
