Korn ft. Kill The Noise & Skrillex "Narsasistic Cannibal"
I would have never guessed Korn and dubstep would ever appear in the same or sentence. But some how they ended up surprising me and they did it. This was my first influence to dubstep that I enjoyed. Before this it was only the big pop girls failing to use dubstep.
#139:
Katy Perry "Wide Awake"
Where do I even begin to start.... well, I guess I am glad this song was released. After so much crap that was put on the Teenage Dream album, this was a refreshing turn of events. I really hope on her next album she goes back to her first album with a hit of songs like this.
#138:
Calvin Harris "Feel So Close"
Not really sure how to feel about Calvin. I like this song and I like We'll Be Coming Back a little bit, but that is all that has caught my attention so far. I'll just keeping waiting to be impressed though.
#137:
Christina Perri "A Thousand Years"
Last Year: #21
While this is also a soundtrack like the Owl City song, I would much rather not thing of this song from a soundtrack, especially with what movie the soundtrack belongs to But no hard feelings for Christina, she still has an amazing voice and beautiful songs.
#136:
Papa Roach "Still Swinging"
Peak: #15
Hey look more rock and dubstep. Not really sure how to feel about this song, it has a lot of very Papa Roach like sounds to the song and could stand without the dubstep part, so I really am curious to know why they added it.
#135:
Jason Aldean "Fly Over State"
The final single from Jason's previous album and another big his from the country superstar. And he acutally does have a point that I agree with in this song. Most people who don't live in the midwest don't understand how people could live here. I personally really love it here.
#134:
Carrie Underwood "Two Black Cadilacs"
Carrie's upcoming country single about adultery and revenge... sounds a bit like if the girl in Before He Cheats didn't break up with the guy in time. I am mainly eager for the video over anything, and can't wait to see how well it preforms.
#133:
Frank Ocean "Thinkin' Bout You"
Yet another song that I didn't expect to enjoy, but in the end I gave it a chance and really loved it. This is waht R&B needs to be, not the poser who have mainly been dominating the chart this year. *cough*Hip-hop/rap *********cough*
#132:
Lindsey Stirling "Moon Trance"
This girl a beat! I've never seen anyone before be able to make such creative music just one simple instrument. If you haven't seen how amazing this girl is, you need to before you rate this group of songs. Lindsey is amazingly talented. The video is also a little ode to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
#131:
Gym Class Heroes ft. Neon Hitch "Ass Back Home"
Unlike Steroe Hearts, Ass Back Home didn't really deserve the success it ended up getting, even The Fighter deserved to chart higher than this ended up. And I know know what it is about Neon Hitch, I don't hate her voice, but.... I don't really care for it either.
