was gonna say lmao, i don't remember any such thing happening with usher's album. besides they couldn't just rush-release the album tomorrow because there'd be no way they'd get the physical CD in enough stores in time and so sales would suffer massively
they might bring the date forward a week or two but that'll be it. next-day rush releases are unheard of and it won't be happening with this album, especially not the major-label debut album of a rising big-name artist like this
