Yes, if you could not illegally download, "21" would have sold twice or three times as many copies. That's commons sense.
Also, no one even implied BTW would have sold 6m copies in one week without piracy. Once again, perfume =/= CD. Perfumes appeal to absolutely everyone, where as pop music does not.
This is all common sense.
