See the thing about the Fame was that it was sincerely created. It was a great pop album. Now it just seems like she going back to dance/pop because an album underperformed. That just doesnt feel sincere.

Let me repeat, she is not saying that she put out BTW specifically to test her fans, rather that because the way the album was received and how it turned a lot of people off, it tested the fans. It's not hard to distinguish the context in which she spoke.

As usual, ATRL taking every Gaga interview and completely twisting her words and adding sh_t that she never said in order to make her out to be some "bad" person/ artist.

She never said that she intended for the album to be a test to her fanbase, however, because she made an album that veered onto a different path than some people expected she knew that it would end up being a test. Also, I think Gaga needs constructive criticism and that is what fans are supposed to give but I don't think she feels like every fan that became disinterested with her is wrong for doing so. I am sure she understands.

The entirety of Born This Way was dance pop, and I wouldn't get so excited about her returning to The Fame when she's working with the people she is and taking videos for luxury perfumes straight out of GOAT.
