The majority of the negative responses here are from Nicki stans who have shown a lot of hate for Azealia in the past. All I'm sayin. Not trying to start ****, I'm just saying I knew how this would end up lol.

Her straight rap songs are good. Not everything has to be Rick Ross to be good. He might appeal to a different crowd then her, same with Lil Wayne, but in my opinion, Lil Wayne is one of the worst rappers I've ever heard.

I didn't feel Fantasea to be honest, but 1991 EP ****ted, and 212 is one of my favorite songs. So I definitely understand why people like her.

A rapper does not HAVE to talk about "inspirational things" to be an exceptional rapper
Whatever they talk about, the lyrics are top notch. Nicki minaj may be versatile, but LYRICALLY, banks is superior. She does not have to rap about her life experiences and inspirational things to be superior either

My current dislike of Nicki is totally unrelated to my.love of Azealia. It annoys me that stans think they HAVE to dislike other artists to like one. MIA hates GaGa and I joined this board as a hybrid MIA/GaGa stan.
I just wish Azealia and stans and Nicki stans could coexist. I feel like... A lot of Azealia stans (maybe just annoying bandwagoners, I don't pay attention) are music snobs who take any chance they can get to prove that Nicki's music sucks and Azealia's is amazing.
