What incredibly arrogant prognostication! Even though most of the reviewers on music blogs/magazines predicted the album would "brick", and despite all the hate, constant snark in every report, no radio play (maybe strategic, who knows) her US sales are also respectable (nearly 350K, and should reach gold in a few months). I think the "hate crowd" was just waiting to pounce on her, and they seized on the SNL performance, even though by most objective criteria it did not deserve such vitriol. To say that the SNL performance will for ever doom her chances in US is just not true. Her next album is going to be bigger (more WW than US) but then gradually the US will come around, it has happened many times in the past.
