I agree Janet is a better performer and has better albums than Britney... but is a fact that Britney's career is superior to be honest.
Janet turning down the X-factor was a rumor, I never saw a reliable source about it ... and If she was offered I'm pretty sure she was not gonna be paid as much as Britney's $16M salary. . . Maybe Janet turned it down because they offered her $1M or something like that.

I remember this Janet Jackson tribute. Damn, I miss urban P!nk and dance P!nk. I was let
down when she went "pop rock." That being said, why she was chosen to be in this
tribute instead of Britney Spears is beyond me. Mya should have done the chair
sequence and Britney Spears could have done the "Pleasure Principle"
sequence. THAT would have made the tribute TRULY epic.
