MAROON 5 - One More Night: 193.176 (+0.975030)
It just surpassed Alicia's "No One" airplay peak. It seems only "We Belong Together" and "Irreplaceable" have higher airplay peaks than "One More Night". What kind of slayage. I'm scared!!! :scary:
I wonder how many weeks at #1... 10,11, 12, ... I have no idea.
It will have it's 8th week at #1 this week!!!! 9th week isn't out of the question!!! After that I feel like it will be dethroned because Adam wants to move onto Daylight and he's performing it on The Voice on Friday so OMN will probs start to drop on airplay
I feel like this is such a phantom smash #1. I almost never hear it on radio (XM at least), never hear anyone talk about and never see it referenced. I don't think there's ever been a 8+ week #1 with so little cultural impact.

I missed your comments so much, Poison! Do you listen to any HAC/Pop radio station at all!? It's currently #1 in both formats.
One More Night had an amazing and way impressive run.
It's time to move on.
Though from Octone's statements it seems Maroon5 have submitted that for Grammy chances instead of Payphone... let's see if successfully or not.
One thing is for sure: it is destined to be one of the more successful songs of the year.
And that's great
I'm genuinely surprised (and thrilled) this song took so many lives. It was one of my favorites from jump, but I started to worry when Payphone wouldn't go away.
So happy to be wrong, though. Now let's hope Daylight follows suit. It's not a song I love, but I can deal. I want Doin' Dirt to be released so bad, but I don't see it happening.

Don't get me wrong... anyone who read this thread knows I simply adore OMN, but it's time to move on from radio or Daylight won't ever get its job (selling the album consistently through winter) done
I guess when Rihanna gets to Billboard Hot 100 summit, radio will switch to Diamonds in force, giving ways to OMN to decrease and then to Daylight to pick (partially) up from it (I say partially because Daylight is infinitely less radio appealing compared to OMN).

Actually Doin Dirt may be receiving the single treatement (thing that I would be happy abot, I really have come to realize it's one of my major jams on Overexposed).
Weeks ago it was made slipped that the song was receiving a couple of remixes done, which may be a sign it is going to be picked up as a single next year.
it would work magnificently on dancefloors in Summer.
But if they skip Lucky Strike for it... (they probably totally will...)
