How is Britney more talented exactly? I have YET to see one answer from a Britney fan with actual ARGUMENTS other than "Oh it's Britney. Taylor is not that great".
It's ok if you think that Britney is more talented but at least try to explain HOW. Being a worldwide icon and having longevity had NOTHING to do with talent
THIS. I want someone to tell me what the talent is! Being around for ten years (if you consider you still REALLY around) is not a TALENT. Singing, dancing, painting, drawing, running, etc is talent. WHAT is Britney's talent ?
Taylor can play musical instruments and write songs. But so can Britney.
Taylor can sing live but not very well, and also, her performances are boring.
Taylor's "boring" performances have won her numerous awards and honors as "Entertainer of The Year" so I guess people who matter don't think she's boring.
-She co-directed the video, changed the whole thing which made her the legend that she is rn.
- She conceptualized the video which redefined her image forever. Such a legend

You haven't been listening to Taylor's music carefully enough, I'm afraid. Listen to 'Tim McGraw' or 'Never Grow Up' or 'Breathe' and tell me Taylor's music has no depth. You can't just toss out statements like 'songs about boys and fairytales' because that is certainly not all of what Taylor sings about, fairytales especially. List me her songs about fairytales. Do it.
And then list me some songs by Britney that aren't about boys (this isn't a bad thing. Sex and romance makes up 99% of music. The important thing is how creative you are within the themes).

So many people here seem so confident to criticise Taylor's music using broad, sweeping statements but when actually challenged on those statements people rarely seem to be able to formulate replies and instead just don't bother.
Both are weak vocalists but Taylor writes her own songs, (don't know if Britney does), Taylor plays guitar well, she wrote and produced her own album (Speak Now) so I think Taylor is more talented, because writing original music is difficult. (even though I don't like her music.)
Britney's writers are talented. Britney's producers are talented. Britney's choreographer is talented. Britney is not talented.
Taylor is one of the most talented Artists EVER and that's not even my opinion. That's a fact.
The funny is that she's has done all the things you claim she's not talented, she has written songs, produce her albums, has given ideas about choreographies, videos, etc. So she must have some talent to do so.
The same people using the "you know nothing about Taylor Swift" argument - are the same people that no zero about Britney.
In fact, if they did know about Britney - they would have never created this lopsided discussion that leans heavily in Britney's favor in the first place.
Britney doesn't just have her dancing, she also choreographs....she also writes and composes some of her songs. She, too, can play the piano - one of her piano melodies is the hook to "Everytime."
She came up with the concepts to her best videos -- BOMT, Toxic, Everytime, Womanizer, Circus, Criminal....not to mention directing "Do Somethin'"
Britney is a critically acclaimed actress after wildly popular guest star appearances on "Will and Grace" and "How I Met Your Mother."
Taylor's only talent is ****ing her way through the Jonas Brothers, the Glee cast, the cast of Twilight, Jake Gyllenhaal and more. And singing different variations of the songs she sang as a 17 year old.
Just campare BOMT and Britney, completely different sound and themes. We can't say the same for Taylor.
Listen to her debut than Fearless than Speak Now the production is completely diferent for each I mean you can't tell me Enchanted sounds like anything else she's done
