lol. Come on, they've both been around for like 2 years!
It'd be different if you were comparing artists that have been around for over a decade, like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, but with artists who've just had 2 albums?

GaGa do it well, more than i expect. (her singles sales in US are shameful, biggest market = more points) although Katy still strong like hell in singles (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th x 4th, 5th and 6th singles)

If you subtract everyone's features, Rihanna's still on top - so no.

Rihanna's featured singles this year:
- Fly
- All of the Lights
- Who's That Chick
Rihanna's singles released this year:
- What's My Name?
- S&M
- California King Bed
- Man Down
- Cheers (Drink to That)
- We Found Love
- You Da One
Both Fly, AOTL and WTC failed to make an impact worldwide opposed to WMN, S&M and WFL who are all worldwide smashes.

What do these numbers mean? Let's analyse away.
1) Rihanna remains the singles Queen globally.
2) Katy is local, hopefully this will open her fans' eyes.
3) Gaga is doing pretty good considering this era isn't doing as well as expected.

I'm not sure..
LTWYL 2010:
Quote:
Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna
Aftermath / Interscope - 8.260.000 points
|
Now:

Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna
Aftermath / Interscope - 2010 - 9.067.000 points

That's 800k different and tha's just one of the tracks.
Without all her features [or everyon's] I think Adele might have gotten than #1.
Do you know the points of: Fly, All of the Lights and Who's That Chick?
The difference between Adele and Riri is ~3.72 M , without LTWYL it's about ~2.92 M , if those tracks have each 1M ithan Adele would have this [as Pitbull sure has a lot of collabs and Bruno too]

Rihanna's charting features this year were in "Love The Way You Lie", "Who's That Chick", "Princess of China" and "Take Care".
"All Of The Lights" was not accredited toward either total as she is not listed as an artist on this chart. "Fly" was not listed as a feature because she is accredited as a lead artist, and not a feature, on this chart.
Without totals come close, but Rihanna ups Adele by a hair.
Rihanna: 19,719,000
Adele: 19,625,000
Without features the chart would look something like this off the top of my head
1) Rihanna
2) Adele
3) Katy Perry
4) Bruno Mars
5) Lady Gaga
Yoyo, you're missing charting titles from Bruno including "Marry Me", "Young Wild and Free", "It Will Rain", and "Mirror". Your totals for the listed songs are slightly off also.

I Wanna Go sold 2 million, Criminal sold 600k in South Korea alone.
