WHO RUN THE WORLD?!
I can remember the day I heard this song like it was yesterday. Someone on BWB (old Beyoncé forum) said he heard the song from a friend who was at the rehearsals of it. He was having a heart attack, I think at that moment. No one believed him, of course. Until he gave the song to someone on the board who was very trustworthy. That person came back having a heart attack too I think because by the way he was describing the song. So of course everyone wanted to hear the song, but no one got it. I did, I got it from someone on the board.
I remember freaking out before I played it, I was sweating like crazy() and I was so extremely excited. I played it on Quicktime because it was a Quicktime file. It was not the snippet everyone here on ATRL (minus a few Bey stans) heard, no it was the official LQ version. The song started, that sick intro. I couldn't believe it, and then the song started and I heard that heavy beat and I was in awe. Beyoncé did not disappoint me at all with the song. The HQ version was even better because you could hear everything so much better. We thought Beyoncé said at a moment ''Oh pump your Jay-Z'' when it was actually ''Oh come here baby''. I still hear pump your Jay-Z in the LQ version. Anyways, I love this song so much, I like the lyrics, the fast singing, the harmonies are just heaven. Not one gal in the music industry right now can do harmonies like Beyoncé. The ending is epic, when the beat is heavier and harder, just . This is the best song of 2011 because it's just so fantastic. I still wished it did much better than it did, I think it would if the leak didn't happen and the demos. Also Beyoncé should've released another song as first single, I think RTW would've done better if it was released later.
And here I end my Top 10 Singles of 2011. I hope you all liked it as much as I did. Hopefully 2011 will be as good as 2010. The top 15 Best Movies of 2011 will start tomorrow.
The first of the three big artists to make its entry in my top 15 albums of 2011 is none other than miss Britney Spears! Britney has been away for a while, had a very successful Circus tour and the album Circus was cute too. I did not really expect that much from her because she usually comes with a nice pop album with fun pop tracks. And she did, like I predicted. However she used some dubstep in a few of her songs. The album overall is cute, nothing really outstanding, it's great, it's alright but it ain't amazing. The dubstep influenced first single, Hold It Against Me is a song that's really Britney, I think a lot of artists could pull it off but Britney brings that extra to it that it's better when Britney sings it. But then she released Till The World Ends, a song that could be sung by Ke$ha. I love the song, I think it's an amazing dance track but it's just too basic. I Wanna Go was a little better imo, I liked it better. Then she finally released the mid-tempo Criminal and I love it. See songs like Criminal and also the other songs He About To Lose Me and Don't Keep Me Waiting are the songs that I want to hear from Britney. She always brings us those nice, upbeat dance tracks but it's always about dancing and having fun. Which isn't bad but I just want to see more from her. Now if her next album is filled with songs like He About To Lose Me which is my favorite song off the album, I will definitely buy it. Anyways, Britney's Femme Fatale is a great album, it was a nice comeback and I hope that her seventh album will be even better.

Jennifer Hudson - I Remember Me
Jenny, Jenny, Jenny. Where do I start because you actually do not deserve this place at all but I will explain why I put your album at #14. First of all, the album is a great R&B album but it's boring. Of course her vocals are outstanding on this album, but not one track stands out. Not one track gets me like Spotlight or If This Isn't Love on her debut album. Every song on this album is nice but it doesn't have that BAM, that I want to have. You see on every album there is this one track that totally gets you but with this album there is not one track like that. Don't get me wrong, No One Gonna Love, Gone, I Got This and Everybody Needs Love are my favorites and that's why she's at #14 but she deserves at least a top #10 entry. But I just can't give her that.
13.
Selah Sue - Selah Sue
Selah Sue, you may not know her because she's a little bit popular in Europe. Her voice is different and I think if Amy was still here, they would sound amazing on a duet. Her debut album is really good, I just love it when an artists debut album is great because then the next album is usually better, hopefully I can say the same for her when her next album is released. My World is the track that really gets my attention, I love it, the track itself is very nice and the melody is perfect. Her music is Reggae/Soul and I just love that genre. This is just a good album with nice tracks and I think everyone should check her out.
12.
Rihanna - Talk That Talk
Rihanna gal. I swear go get a two year rest and think about your life and live life and come back with a banging album like Rated R because this album, ch. So after Loud which I was very disappointed in because it only had a few good tracks and the rest was just bland and boring Rihanna came with Talk That Talk. First, I just don't like the album name, second again there are a few nice tracks. Her first single was We Found Love which I hated at first but now I kinda like it. Her second single is You Da One and there is where everything goes wrong. This whole Talk That Talk era has been a little bit messy because the girl is still touring with her last album. The album is not what I expected, at least it's better than Loud. But that isn't to brag about. Where Have You Been, Drunk On Love, Do Ya Thang, Birthday Cake and Watch 'n Learn are the best songs on the album. Only 5 tracks out of the 14, that isn't even half of the album. Where Have You Been is obviously everything We Found Love isn't. Drunk On Love is a lovely track, I love the beat and the lyrics. Do Ya Thang is a nice summer song, I think it could be big, it's extremely easy to sing because the lyrics are very easy to remember. Birthday Cake, gal. I had to breath when I heard it, this song is everything and I just know when they finally release the final, it will be my second fave Rihanna track ever next to the impeccable Disturbia. It got every gay popping their ******* because the song is just so addictive that you have to do it. Watch 'n Learn is just a good song that really gets you in the mood. Overall the album was much better than other albums released this year but her ass needs to work harder on these albums and give me a Rated R again and it doesn't even need to be dark!

Iggy Azalea - Ignorant Art
It's all your fault Sinny! This bitch Iggy, I love her. This rap album is fun and catchy, I love almost everything about. Too bad it has only nine tracks but it's still nice. My World ***** so hard, that beat is sick that's what I love most about the song. ***** is a funny track and I love it. Backseat is another song that is just perfect, very relaxing laid back. I kinda hope she breaks through because I like her style. You could say she tries way too hard to be a bad bitch, but I just love it. I don't think she tries too hard, it's just funny.
10.
Florence And The Machine - Ceremonials
I'd never thought in a million years that I would love a Florence album. No Lights, No Lights is definitely one of my favorites songs of the year and the album is just fantastic. I love it so much! It's different and I really need to expand my music taste because it was very small before. I've explored more genres this years and I gave Florence a chance. No Lights, No Lights, Seven Devils and Lover To Lover are my favorites on the album but I really love the whole album. She really deserves the success she has got so far, I love it when real talent get recognized by the public.
9.
Natalia Kills - Perfectionist
I've been waiting for this album for years. I remember listening to Zombie. I loved that dark tone it had, dark pop. I've been anticipating this album for so long and it finally got released in 2011. The title is just perfect because it's perfection, she's really a perfectionist. Mirrors, Wonderland, Free, Nothing Last Forever, Superficial,.. I could go on and on, the album is perfect. Really these debuts this year were fantastic.
8.
Drake - Take Care
I don't like Drake, I don't use him, I don't even use his body. However, I had to check out this album because I only heard good things about and DAMN! This album is so good, I love it so much. I love that it's so relaxing, the album really gets you in the mood when you want to sit down and relax. A perfect sophomore album. I'm not really here for rap but this one is really good. Of course there is another rap album in this countdown but I think everyone can guess who that is.
7.
Mary J. Blige - My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act 1)
Could it get any better this year? Yes! Mary came back hard with her new album which is a continuation to her firs My Life album. I've never heard the My Life album, I only heard great things about tho. But I just love this one. I don't really like all those features, with the exception of the feature with Beyoncé. Pure R&B is what Mary always gives you. I was not really here for 25/8 but I began to love it. I was immediately here for Mr. Wrong, the beat and the lyrics are really Mary. Such songs are Mary songs, you would think because she always sings about bad boys that you would get enough of it but hell no! Mr. Wrong is a sick R&B record, I adore it however Drake was not needed at all. I also like her cover of Ain't Nobody, I've always loved the song and I like how she upgraded it. Need Someone is another song that I truly love, very true lyrics and I love the guitar in it. Overall the album is amazing.
The reason I gave away 9 albums is because I had to start on Friday but I forgot so I wanted to start yesterday but I fell asleep so that's why. lol Anyways tomorrow I think I'll reveal 5 and then on Tuesday, I will reveal the last 2.
