#70: I think I've decided that it's, officially, my guiltiest pleasure of the year.
#69: Not bad, but I guess that I've never particularly been a big fan of him, dating back to the "I Don't Want to Be" era.
#68: Enjoyable song, though you could also say that about the majority of that album.
#67: Honestly, have not listened to it and I don't have too much time to do so now, but hopefully I'll get around to it.
#66: There's just something about Ke$ha that hooked me this year. I'm still not a BIG FAN of hers or anything, but I can appreciate what she's doing right now, at least.
#65: The best single of this particular era for Avril. That's not saying much, but the acoustic version really is good stuff.
Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg ft. Bruno Mars - "Young, Wild, & Free"
Album: Mac & Devin Go to High School soundtrack Writers: Calvin Broadus, Cameron Thomaz, Peter Hernandez Producer(s): The Smeezingtons
Standout Lyrics
"So what we get drunk?
So what we smoke weed?
We’re just having fun
We don’t care who sees
So what we go out?
That’s how its supposed to be
Living, young, and wild and free"
Wiz Khalifa has been such a breath of fresh air to the world of Hip Hop in 2011. His breakthrough album Rolling Papers is damn good, but I know several ATRLers aren't here for Rap/Hip Hop much. Even if the genre isn't your cup of tea, I still highly recommend that you give the track a chance. I'm not too sure about the soundtrack that YWF appears on though. The "Young, Wild, & Free" collaboration between Wiz and Snoop Dog, along with Bruno Mars was such a great idea. You have two amazing lyricists going at it with Bruno Mars loaning his voice to the catchy hook, solidifying the smash, just like he did for "Nuthin' On You" and "Lighters." This is definitely an anthem for tons of young adults around the world.

Keith Urban - "Without You"
Album: Get Closer Writers: Joe West, Dave Pahanish Producer(s): Dann Huff, Keith Urban
Standout Lyrics
"Hearts never know the way they want to go and want to stay
We need two but in time you find the road
And though inside you know you've gotta go
The hardest part I find is you're all I ever knew"
Keith Urban is such a sweetie. "Without You" is supposedly Keith's life story. I'm sure his wife, Nicole Kidman played a large part in the production of this song as well. The first time I heard this song, I was sitting by the window watching the rain from the confines of my apartment and boy did this song fit the somber mood at the time. It's not one of Keith's best songs ever, but it's a gem nonetheless.

J Cole - "Work Out"
Album: Get Closer Writers: Jermaine Cole Producer(s): J. Cole
Standout Lyrics
"Hey, we got a good thing
Don't know if I'm a see you again
But is that a good thing?
Cause girl I can't be your man, no ma'am
I know what's on your brain
You're probably hopin' never would end
Like is it the real thing
Or is it just a one night stand"
J Cole is another Hip Hop artist blowing up in 2011. Work Out is a pretty good song and his style of attempting to sing and rap on the track reminds me of Drake, Weezy, and Ja Rule with what they do on certain songs. I will have to put this man on my artists to watch list, to see what he'll put out next.
