She shoulda just released Scheibe like i said. I remember everyone who said Marry Tha Night would smash and be her next number one and saying things along tha lines of 'Marry Tha Night is her last chance at getting a number 1 from this album.' Can't wait to see tha excuses about tha radio and audience as to why it didn't get to number 1. Marry Tha Night sounds too much like Born This Way,it's ridiculous. Scheibe is clearly tha closest thing on tha album to her fun Fame music,which is clearly what people want
Considering TEOG and Y&I hit the top 10 after the disaster that was Judas, I think she'll be fine. And it's not like the song is doing worse than Blah Blah Blah, Criminal, Every Bey single this era, every Bionic single, the majority of Madonna's post-2000 output, California King Bed, Man Down, Cheers, etc.
It's a shame she put herself on such a high pedestal that a Top 20 radio hit and Top 20 digital seller is viewed as a "flop."
amazon made the choice to discount it, and furthermore it would have had strong first week sales and would have debuted at no.1 regardless, so it doesn't reek of desperation like she would if she remixed/lowered prices of an under performing single.

It obviously changes things... the album would have been extremely successful either way, whereas if she discounted MTN + it did well she would basically be cheating her way to the top.
It's probably time for them to release the catchiest song in her album, "Government Hooker". Sure I'll be taking a seat while critics compare it to the legendary song, "Gimme More".
