Or, there's the alternate theory -- that there is logic, but you just fail to see it through your bias and "idiocy." For example, Ke$ha wasn't the first female artist to debut talk-rap electronica to the music scene, but she was the first to popularize it into mainstream music with "TiK ToK," thus, whenever a female artist talk-raps, you will hear Ke$ha comparisons. Madonna wasn't the first to dance/stretch/move in a dance studio in a music video, but she is arguably the first to popularize that IMAGE in mainstream media in the
music industry. "Confessions On A Dance Floor" is one of her most successful albums and what is she doing on the album cover? She's stretching, as if she were in a studio, in her iconic pink leotard --
she has a hold on that imagery, so if you see something close to that vision in a pop music video, you will immediately think of Madonna, because she popularized it, despite not being the first to showcase it. Glad we could help you understand.
