I think people give Adele's voice too much because of how good they think her material is...
And i wish i could put Xtina but i just cant with her live, she gives too much...her oversinging is rihanna and katy's undersinging
Although Gaga isnt a superior vocalist nor is she known for her vocals, she is more vocally capable then everybody in prominence except Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson
So, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and (J-Hud, Gaga, Xtina and Adele are all interchangeable)
For the doubters, Kelly Clarkson has a credible spot in the current vocal trintity positions.
- Esquire: She has the best voice in the history of pop music
- Dr Luke: She's the Lance Armstrong of vocal cords
- Simon Cowell: She has far the best voice on AI history and on the same league with Mariah, Celine and Whitney
- Mariah Carey: Her voice floored me (referencing to Kelly's version of Without You)
- Kelly's versatility kill all your fave's vocal capacities ( you can never imagine adele singing upbeat songs example since you been gone and MLWSWY)

Receipts? Where was this from?

Let's not go there sis.

I agree, when people think of Beyonce they think of dancing and singing.
As much as I adore Florence Welch, there is no way she is in the vocal trinity. Her studio voice is amazing but she isn't a consistent live performer and she can't replicate the studio versions of a lot of her songs live (i.e. Rabbit Heart).

Yas, I remember her performing at the Oscars and it didn't impress me at all.
Xtina should not be mentioned by anyone. She has/had natural ability, but that doesn't make her a good or great vocalist. She constantly misuses her voice. The bad and incessant runs are terrible. The singing outside of her natural range (anything above E5 tbh) is terrible. Her belting tone (now anywhere above C#5 tbh) is terrible. She has good head register range, but I don't think the technique is there. She has a decent lower register, but it's mostly air at the bottom. Her overall technique is terrible. With that said, she's not a bad singer, but she surely isn't a top vocalist. And don't give me that soul ****, because she tries to hard to add soul. If she just received and applied what learned in vocal lessons and didn't try so hard, she would be a contender. However, she so badly misuses her voice that she has damaged it and it's just unpleasant to listen to now. She can pull out a good/great vocal everyone once in a while, but she just doesn't cut it live.
Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, and... Carrie Underwood (I guess).
Beyonce is the most well rounded vocalist of today's generation. She has the best lower register, the best technique, she has good belting range, a pleasant tone throughout all her registers, and a decent head register. Her belts are clear and powerful and maintains tone as she ascends. She doesn't has the largest belting range or best head register, but she is very competent.
Kelly Clarkson is the best belter around now. Although her lower register is weak, it's improved greatly over the years. Her belting range is unmatched. Not only does she has the range, but she has power and good tonality behind the notes. She also has a great head register. In addition, she does has a whistle register, but she prefers not to use it.
Carrie Underwood is just the best of the rest. She doesn't have the best lower, belting, or head registers, but she's very competent. She has good belting power up until around F#5.
They all CONSISTENTLY deliver LIVE.
Adele is excluding for a few reasons. Range isn't everything, but she is lacking in that department. Her belting range essentially ends at Eb5. Those Eb5s in SLY are terrible too and she dodges them live. She has a great tone (to many, I personally don't care for it) and a great lower register. She also has ample power until D5/Eb5.
Leona has no power or lower register.
Jennifer has no restraint and often is just unpleasant to the ears.
Mariah isn't terrible, but she's not the best anymore. She's lost so much power and clarity in her voice over the years. Despite that, she still has her entire range and can pull it out at any given moment.
Gaga is a good vocalist, but not near the top. She lack belting range and power. NGL, her E5s in "Marry the Night" slay me for hours though. Given that her voice changed from obviously soprano in her earlier years (as Stefani) to a more contralto based vocalist, it would be hard to compare.
Some young vocalists to look out for (possibly for the next trinity) are JoJo, Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, and Ariana Grande.

This is all truth. Except Beyonce has a better head voice than most of the singers, if not all, the ones you mentioned.

Really? Since when?
or same set
If anything, one things commonly said about Flo is that her voice is as strong and clear live as it is in studio versions.
That said, she has had consistency issues in the past, and is still growing as a vocalist.

You're still active on this forum? I thought you went with Collide's chart performance and the final punch into irrelevancy of a certain horse-obsessed one-hit wonder.
