You are lying, though. GGGB had many flaws, both the album and the era, while Rated R was perfection save for Flopstar 101.

Fair, but isn't it a bit extreme to go so far as to say Loud pales in comparison? I think they are pretty close in terms of quality, while obviously Umbrella gave Rih the trump card in terms of overall which is better

Loud has some of her best songs to date. The only thing about it is that all the songs don't flow well together. Cohesiveness killed it but alt he songs HAD QUALITY. What's My name is RIhanna's 2nd best song of all time Period.
The album had Only Girl, Skin, Man DOwn, Fading, LTWYL 2, Fading, Complicated.
The only meh/bad songs are S&M, Cheers and Raining Men.

*Great era for her in terms of performances and image, if you pretend the LGOE Tour doesn't exist

True....but LOUD is the **** even without the charts.
In this case it is her most successful album and for a reason. It's a GREAT POP record.
Music of the Sun is the only album she's made that I'll say SUCKS other than 3 songs.
