If she did something like Overprotected and the Darkchild Remix, I'd be fine, BUT as a single from FF and BITM? Even Jive ain't THAT crazy.
it's just like the Overprotected Remix just backwards. The US is getting the original Criminal and international markets get the remix. And jive doesn't exsist anymore

Did y'all catch the news? Britney officially confirmed the next single from her chart topping and critically acclaimed album Femme Fatale at the VMAs last night! The new single will be "Criminal" and Brit is already thinking about the concept for the video.
I don't think the radio or video version will be remixes! Britney herself said that she loved criminal because it sounded like nothing she has ever done! The remix will probably just be an extra.
MESS Britney needs to take control of this NOW, I will not have a disposable dance remix replace the flawless original She needs to also scrap the remix album and do the rerelease instead
Have you been living under a rock? Britney confirmed herself that Criminal was the next single, and that she had the concept ready.
And there have been many articles posted about the Jive/RCA deal. The search button is a helpful tool.
I was stressing on the "fourth single from FEMME FATALE" part. And I'm aware of that, but there are NO SOURCES confirming Jive has officially folded, and Britney has signed to RCA.
Criminal is perfect as it is. It would smash. It's one of the best songs she's ever done. If they ruin this song with a ****** dance remix I will never forgive them.
I'm not here for this mess. They need to leave the original alone. Don't touch it, it's perfect the way it is. If they cut the flute, i'm cutting a bitch. The flute makes the song.
Jive isn't gone. Some of it's artists went to Epic, the rest molded with RCA under Sony as Jive-RCA.
Peter Edge Appointed CEO of RCA Music Group
Quote:
Edge will report to Morris and oversee the day-to-day operations of the group and its labels, which is now comprised of RCA, Jive, J, and Arista, as well as their affiliate labels. He had been the company's president of A&R since 2007.
And this will end up being a non-factor. Radios will play what they want. If they want to sell "Criminal" from both Femme Fatale and the remix album..let it be.
