This episode had everything I love about Vampire Diaries in it. Cheesy Vampire Romance. Holy Crap hot Vampires. Witty one liners. Badass MOFO action. Fiesty heroine. Serious drama. Fantastic pacing. Plot A, B *and* C *and* D. Hot smooching. Emotional tug at your heart strings ending with poor Tyler leaving town. Like a complete full supremely delicious and satisfying meal. Actually, it was missing some male shirtless action but we got Elijah who even fully clothed is just Dayum.
One complaint about Elena. Confronted with one of the Wolves she diverted his attention and ran UPSTAIRS. Classic horror movie and airheaded mistake. She was able to get back down, but she never should have run upstairs in the first place. Did she want to get captured or worse?
Katherine would NEVER had done something as stupid as that.
I know Nina must have rolled her eye at the script. "Elena is doing what?" I know she's smarter than that too.
