I wasn't surprised at all. I expected it only Katy Bathes deserved something but yeah as a whole it wasn't that good to get noms.

lol Winona really deserved her nomination...
Millie was good but if u really want to go there all she had was to scream papa and look either scared or intimidating... not to mention she mostly gets all that praise because of her young age...
On the other hand Winona had a bigger challenge... she had to work with a variety of emotions not to mention she didnt really had any help*
* stuff like an extreme makeover, a weird character, young age etc

Coverage of last night's party:
Hollywood’s high priestess Meryl Streep—who attended President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s farewell celebration at the White House the night before...already made Golden Globes history, earning her 30th nomination...She made a beeline for a bar in an empty corner to order a martini. By the time she received her cocktail, though, her corner had suddenly been jammed to capacity proving that, even among movie stars, Streep is the strongest magnet.
"Declared [Davis] at the ceremony to be 'the most immediate, responsive artist I have ever worked with.'"

I hope you're right. I've seen some pundits saying MBTS will slip by and take the Best Picture - Drama award tonight. I've already resigned myself to LLL winning the Oscar for BP, but I'll want to cut someone if Moonlight loses BP tonight.
