- Carpool Karaoke
- AMAs
- CBS
- The Late Late Show
+ Countless radio interviews & Japan promo. She's had the Super Bowl hype/announcement as well.
The album is at 525k WW according to MT, not 600k.

See, if the general public were buying into all of these appearances like they would for any other artist that puts out good music, they might be willing to admit that yes, Joanne is in fact the most heavily promoted album of 2016.
But, since literally nobody is buying into it, and nobody thinks the music is good, except for her rapidly evaporating fanbase: "Oh, it's not promo at all! She hasn't even performed the lead single on television!"

yeah and it's not like promo sells albums anymore anyway - this is 2016 not 2006.
Glory for example was the most promoted album of 2016 and has barely sold 290,000 worldwide.
BBMA performance + bought award for brand promo
VMA’s performance
- Interviews on E! and Extra
- Private Show promo which included album promo
- Jimmy Kimmel "viral" skit
- Carpool karaoke
- Ryan Seacrest KIIS interview
- Z100 interview
- Today Show performance
- iHeart Radio performance
- iHeart Radio Twitter interview
- Kim K tweeting people to make Glory #1
- Apple Music performance
- Make Me discounted
- Make Me discounted again
- VMA version of Make Me sent to radio
- Ellen Show
-Slumber Party remixed version released to iTunes
-Australia ‘Sunrise’ Interview
-Jonathan Ross interview + performance
-Loose Women interview in UK
Joanne is doing fine

It's funny how you always try to spin everything to look positive for her, but no, most of the reviews were mixed. All you have to do is look at Metacritic for the truth.
Critic Reviews
Positive: 13
Mixed: 14

The album is bad, full of fillers, not a single song with hit potential to sell the album.

And who are you to say the album isn't genuine? It is very genuine, these are personal songs for her and it perfectly reflects the stuff she grew up on, and the stuff she was doing before The Fame.

So now it's not massive promo but when other people do it, it is?
And are you really attempting to justify her poor sales by saying her songs don't get played on radio? Don't you realize that that is yet another area where she fails?
So basically, album isn't selling
Singles aren't selling
Singles aren't even being played on radio because no one is interested.
How is this not a failure?
And the UTTER NERVE of calling Rihanna's sales tragic when she's done 1.7 million copies in the US alone, AFTER giving away a million copies for free. How many YEARS will it take for Joanne to get there?

Joanne is a flop of an album. The biggest flop album by a major pop girl.

Why are we constantly focused on the US market on this damn forum. My post did not deny she may have had a lot of promo in the US but stating the simple fact she has not really had any promo out of the US/Japan. God dammit if you are unable to understand such basic logic

Sis if I decided to post every single radio interview, online appearance, multiple videos from the same promo appearance, etc from Kelly's Piece By Piece era it would be FAR longer than this. And that era wasn't "everywhere" "massive promo" etc.
No matter how you guys try to spin it, this isn't a huge amount of promo, especially for Gaga. Artists like Ariana, Meghan, hell even Britney this era promoted more.

I don't know if the album sales are at least decent/moderate for Joanne given the current climate but in term of singles is doing way, way worse than Artpop, the latter had a big hit in the name of Applause (#4 on Pop) and the moderate DWUW (#7), both went top 10 on Pop radio, this is such a huge decline I'm kind of shocked, I think Gaga is done forever on radio, Idk how can she recover after this massive falldown.

People saying she promoted very much when she only promoted in the US and Japan. Plus, 0 airplay.

If Bey, Taylor, Rihanna or even Nicki would have gotten 67, y'all drag this to the pits of hell, wouldn't you?
So why is Gaga gettin lukewarm reviews despite having Florence Welch, Beck, Tame Impala, Ronson on her record?
Maybe because the material is not that good or don't critics simply fail to see the excellence in the lyrics of A-Yo or Hey Girl?

Image revamp, sound revamp, SNL, Carpool Karaoke, AMAS etc. promo, Superbowl, single discounts, Mark Ronson.
It is not a success, that's for sure.

And she has VSFS, X Factor UK + Super Bowl promo coming up.
If this album doesn't sell at least 500k US & 1M WW by Feb-March next year.....

I'm glad reasonable people see this as a commercial failure. Only monsters and people whose mad because I said their favorite's album wasn't that great in quality say otherwise.
