The weird thing about Celine Dion is that despite being a WORLDWIDE MEGA STAR, she's only had 1 big worldwide hit: MHWGO. Other than that, she has smashed in different countries with different hits.
She would release 3 different singles at the same time for each area of the world.

I remember how she launched Let'sTalkAboutLove by releasing 3 different lead singles in 3 different region of the world: Be The Man in Asia, Tell Him in Europe & MHWGO in the USA.

She would use the video for french single JeSaisPas for an english single CallTheMan in English speaking countries.

She would release Spanish singles from English album to Spanish speaking countries.

And on and on and on....

I respect Celine's hard work, her willingness to learn foreign languages to succeed in foreign markets but at the same time, it makes her success seem forced.

I would give Whitney the win on this thread cause she didn't have to "adapt" to local markets to succeed in them. She just released her art and it would universally connect with the entire world. And she did it over and over again.

I voted for Celine and was going to say Celine but after reading this post I kind of agree tbh.
