Ohhh well. I guess Gaga can't catch a break. Frank just shook the industry power away. He did it big. He basically gave his label an album they barely made any money off of and then completely overshadowed it with his own independent release a day later. I LOVE IT!!!!

lmao, you really don't get it  yes she'll probably have some banners a few days, maybe even WW, a deal would include all the banners WW, inclusion in playlists, promo on Beats1 Radio WORLDWIDE, possibly a commercial, exclusive concerts for fans, high positions on pages with suggested music/new music, this is in no way, shape, or form a good thing or 'not a big deal', it's a disaster, otherwise her and her team wouldn't have made the deal
It was basically Apple pumping millions into this era with Interscope's money free to spend on other promo and events or other means to spend it, and she'd probably get even more money cuz it'd be more successful cuz of Apple's promo. Now she gets less promo and she needs to spend Interscope's money on different promo, so she 'loses' money for her campaign, and a lot of it.

No, you really don't get it.
The only thing Gaga is losing out on is the possibility for EVERY banner for free (which is unnecessary). All the other stuff you mentioned is still 100% possible if Gaga/Apple want it to happen. The only thing that is blocked is for Gaga to give Apple an exclusive windowing period for the single and/or album. And that's actually a positive since most people who stream use Spotify, giving her a bigger audience and bigger streaming numbers.

She will have as much promo as any regular album release on iTunes.
