Those magazine interviews are obviously unlike live interviews. Whereas her thoughts and ideas are very well explained and drawn out in the former, she is certainly more cagey and hardly ever speaks two sentences without an awkward pause or generic answers in the latter interviews. That's just that, one can be a boss and inarticulate, it has nothing to do with position
EDIT: Or maybe she's camera shy? But I do remember that magazine interview where she answered with arrows and A,B,Cs... maybe they should do that too?
