"LGBT" is a dated term. Understand of identity has changed a lot since the 90s when the term was introduced, and LGBTQIA (QUEER,INTERSEX,ASEXUAL) is also a common expansion though it's still limiting.

Today, LGBT basically covers all gender, romantic and sexual minorities. Asexuality is absolutely part of the community sis.

How's that ignorant? Not that I want to be rude. You can be asexual and gay. Last year, I conducted a big research on asexuality for my sexual behaviour class.

Asexuals aren't sexually attracted to other people. They do have sex to please their partners or/and to procreate but you don't enjoy it. In some cases, asexual men find themselves masturbating as a way to release their sexual frustration.
