I'm the same way and honestly I think the only way is through practice/repetition. Force yourself out of your comfort zone. You'll feel awkward as **** at first but eventually you'll get used to it.

That's insane!

My parents arent that tall to begin with, so I don't have much to work with. I am the same height as my mom, and my dad is around 5'11 I believe.

I'm the same way to be honest, I hated doing oral presentations, but if I'm with a group of friends I'm close with I love attracting attention to myself.

I really just suggest going out of your element more. When I started my first job, I was so awkward and didn't want to talk to anyone. I even ate lunch at the far end of the parking lot sitting down on a curb hidden behind a bush

But soon I just started talking to people and asked if I could join them, eventually I made some really good friends in there.

Speaking of sports, that's another issue I have.

I don't participate in P.E. when we do sports, so I have a C- right now

I don't want to play because I'm scared of humiliating myself when I do mistake, I'm not good at sports But I HAVE to play, or else I'll get an F by the end of the semester.

Well, I shadowed doctors at JHU who were the best in their field...and their work couldn't be any more drab or repetitive minus some research that they just managed.
Also, I realized medicine wasn't rlly my passion.
Oh, and I got spit on by some HIV positive effer and I realized that if I rlly wanted to b a doctor, I wouldn't have gotten as livid as I did
