I doubt radios will engage it with as much enthusiasm as WRTN. After all, that song was FAR better than this, more catchy, much better production, better hook. Plus her name is Priyanka Chopra. That's not attractive to American radio. But I guess the Pit bull feature could gather some airplay.

Hmm hopefully. But We Run The Night was actually a great song unlike this.

Yeah, WRTN is definitely better. The original was better and RedOne made it even better with his remix. I prefer the hook of Exotic, but that's the only catchy part of the song. Every other part is so sloppy just like Live It Up. I wonder if he even puts effort in his productions anymore.

Yeah of course, but her main record deal is with Desi Hits and Universal Music India. They're the ones putting the album and singles together.

The brainchild behind all this is Anjula Acharia-Bath, the CEO of Desi Hits, which is a UK/US based company, not an Indian one. Their aim is to promote South Asians in western pop culture and the whole point of this project is to launch an international Indian pop star. It's definitely Anjula's main goal to promote her in the US. I think it's always been her dream and she's living vicariously though Priyanka or something. She tried with Jay Sean, but it wasn't happening.

Jimmy Iovine and Interscope were definitely the ones who got RedOne and 2101 Records on board (and they're the making the album), but I don't think they really care about the project. They're just interested in reaching the Indian market and using Priyanka as their connection since it's one of the few emerging markets where local acts still dominate.

That's the only reason I'm here. Priyanka is disposable (at least music-wise); after she opens some doors someone more talented will eventually come along.

Apparently it's not getting radio adds "yet". So much for Exotic being her first major single and getting a wide release like her manager claimed.
