This was easy because I already keep a list of my 40 favorite albums (and cutting 15 was no real challenge), but it was also hard because there were about 15 albums that I wanted in my top ten.


I had to give preference to country music, though. Brandy Clark and Kacey Musgraves have pretty much released the three best albums of the decade (poor pop girls don't come close to comparing), but I'm sure they won't make any sort of impact here.
