K-pop is just pop music sung in korean..if some of these songs were recorded by western artists with videos and performances of the same quality as the original kpop artist people would be screaming how excellent those artists were.

If all members were Korean-American/spoke fluent English and they released English versions of their albums, or promoted in the U.S., they'd get pretty far.

Most US people think they don't have to learn a foreign language because they speak english, so I'm gonna say the GP US is probably not open minded enough to give KPop a chance.
