I just got annoyed that many meaningless songs get praised on ATRL daily. Even HTM is not that special lyrics wise. But ATRL made it look like the next I Will Always Love You.
And I see what Selena is trying to do with this song. And why she is releasing it. For countless time she shows she doesnt care for charts/peaks/sales. Which speaks good for her.
Just too much negativity as always - I hate that.
And when I write something longer doesnt mean Im angry. I just talk too much... most of the time.

Btw the "Ding Ding Ding! SelenaTheWinner strikes again." made me laugh. Trust me I dont take myself that seriously.

Me & the Rhythm is 100% on trend and radio would eat it right up. I usually agree that nothing will smash without promo but i can easily see radio picking it up right away and making it an easy hit. i thought it would be perfect for a 4th and maybe final single to end the era on a high note.

idk. i hope this does good bc obviously i don't want her to flop. she better at least deliver a good video. maybe M&TR can be next but i'm kind of doubting a 5th single will happen. this has been a pretty good era all things considered though. I want to fight her for this but I'll live.

So here for this! One of my favorite songs on Revival. Sober and Me & the Rhythm are great songs but are highly overrated here in terms of their commercial capabilities. I don't know why y'all think Me & the Rhythm would be an instant hit anyways, that Do What U Want/Love Me Harder/Style sound made it's way out months ago. (I'm sure it would still see success, just not as instant or as much as many here seem to think it would get.)

If she actually pushes this song (not likely though), it could at least be a cute top ten hit.

SO happy she's taking a risk and releasing something with such message ... I feel this song is so important to her and instrumental to the intent of Revival. I was really hoping for "Survivors", but she can save that for later I guess if she wants to put another single out after this. The album's so great - she's got MANY great single choices that could do very well given the right handling. I'm just so glad she's putting the message of the material first!
