First off, the melody is Irreplaceable alone makes it anything but generic.
But more importantly, those songs came after Irreplaceable and were clones trying to capitalize on that song.
At the time, a song like that with strong pop melodies, acoustic guitars and an urban beat was unheard of. I mean the song was intended for a country singer at first
