I don't get all the hatred for H-I-M. He has the right to possess his own opinion and express it. I also believe that "Applause" is lackluster compared to her previous work and that 'ARTPOP' era has been a mess so far, since only disappointing and/or awful songs have been revealed up to now.

But to get back on topic, admittedly, Gaga is being outsold by those people and Applause did underperform but to call it an outright "flop" and say it's doing "horribly" is just a lie. It ain't flopping, but it ain't a smash either. Overall for a song it's doing fine. For someone like Gaga, the new "Queen of Pop" and accounting for all the hyping done by the little monsters, it is a sore dissapointment. Glad you dragged tho and I'm pleasantly surprised at Applause's longevity.
