And I agree with you. The message behind "Firework" comes off as a little contrived. Maybe it's the plastic bag line that ruins it for me, I don't know. I can understand where Linda is coming from, as I'm also a little fed up with hearing the same **** on the radio. But it is a little hypocritical of her, considering some of the songs she has written.
No hate though, I love Linda.
