I really do love how each character has their each individual story-line. The only thing I hated is Ivy sleeping with the director. I mean, if she wasn't the antagonist before, she definitely is now especially considering Karen turned him down, and is getting fame the old-fashioned way.

I agree. I hate that Ivy did that but she is the better Marilyn. Her voice is better and she looks more like Marilyn.
NBC won the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers led by The Voice which was up 13% from last week (when the Daytona 500 was delayed into primetime) to a 6.1 adults 18-49 rating. Smash also benefited rising 17% to a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating.

Both The Voice and Smash will be renewed. I'm now certain of that. I even think they will keep both on monday next season.

I just mean the things the characters do are facepalm worthy. And I'm waiting for that moment which gives the show its OOMPH moment that propels me to keep watching with enthusiasm. For now I just watch and kind of hope the show in the show, Marilyn, fails lol
