They've never made a great album, but this is by far their weakest. It sounds like a collection of b-sides. Very poor melodies and it all sounds to tired and samey.

OMG I was listening to "Be Still" while walking through a park and I just burst into tears.

People around me were asking if I was alright. lol
Flesh and Bone slays everything on the album. Still extremely solid overall though. I have a very special attachment to Day & Age, and this album matches up.
I have just listened to snippets on Amazon and wow! I have all their albums but only really cared for a few songs so I was not instantly interested in this new one but DANG, does this album sound heavenly or what? I love the Pop sound.
so after a week of listening to the album...i can say that I really do like it...WAY WAY WAY better than Day & Age...I still love Sams Town a but more...and of course Hot Fuss remains at #1 for me...i love the 80's influences it has...by favs as of now are Flesh & Bone, Runaways, The Way It Was , Deadlines & Commitments, Miss Atomic Bomb & Be Still
