The New Wave Singles Rate

Katy Perry vs. Lady GaGa vs. Ke$ha

These 3 are already some of the biggest names in the industry despite being in the industry for only a short period of time. Each only has a few singles to actually undergo an individual singles rate (Katy 13; GaGa 17; Ke$ha 10) so let's rate these 3 at the same time!

I see u named it "Living Life Like It's Golden" and that is what all women, including Toni did lol. She may not be a big musical force now but if we're going by 2000-2001. She was on top with pop hit "He Wasn't Man Enough" and R&B staples "Just Be A Man about it" and "Spanish Guitar." lol She may be the odd 1 out but if u put in a different perspective she fits in with the "middle-aged musical women" theme.

Honestly, I think adding Toni to that rate would hurt participation. Maybe I'm totally off-base, but I just think a lot of people wouldn't take the time to listen to that album, while Music, Fever, and All for You are all really well-known albums that people will want to rate

Yeah, there's the rub. Like, who has head The Heat? No offense, but who has heard it? Plus, there's a symmetry, as all three ladies started in the eighties - before Toni was out of puberty. I'd really prefer it to be kept to three.

But Toni can be in a turn of the century R&B rate with The Writing's on the Wall and Fanmail. That would be KILLER.

Hmm. I'd say no for Britney/Bey/Ri as Keir is doing his rate now, and it would be overload to have them in a solo, Keir's rate, and Shape's rate at the same time.

Same for Kylie and Mimi as BoT is doing his rate now.

So, really, of the first list, the only options are Whitney and Enya. It's really easy and really appealing to host the Whitney rate guys!
