Tip food delivery people and waiters, it's the nice thing to do (if you have the money for it). I've never even heard of tipping cashiers?
not necessarily cashiers but I've tipped people bagging my groceries before and some cashiers help you bring your groceries to your car..in those instances, it is appropriate to tip.

What province is this? I know some servers, and they make slightly under minimum wage (around $9.60/hour). With tips they end up making around 5000 a month which is amazing.
