Denying this is pure insanity.
are you denying that there's a huge amount of underground support for Al-Qaeda?
|
It's a backwards country in terms of social politics, definitely. But they're not ****ing barbarians. It's not black and white. They're economically pretty damn progressive in parts.
Also, not the bolded word. You're trying to pin this on the majority of Muslims when you yourself admit it's an UNDERGROUND movement kinda works more for my point than yours.

Only Soulja Boy could inspire such debates.
Which was his intention, ofc.

Oh how about a lovely trip to the U.A.E, where you can get beaten to death in prison for kissing your partner in public?
Or Kuwait, one of the worst countries in the world for human trafficking?
|
WOW! Lets use your line of thinking. hmmm.. How about Texas, the last time i checked they still have the death penalty ,now how many innocent people might have died in that death chamber. GOD KNOWS again Texas produces the most hateful bigots in the U.S , now if the world generalised us by Texas or some southern countries how would we be viewed
But i say NO! to human trafficking which again is also here with us in the U.S :scary: its a disease everyhere in the world.

As many of you have said not all of them are terrorists and the same applies to us here in the U.S we have christian extremists and much more but the good thing is they are under control but imagine a scenario where we had no control of them, it would be worse. The war in the middle east is both the fault of The U.S government for they are the ones who fund the terrorists secretly and reason is, (as much as the war continues some creep somewhere provides machinery and supplies and in return he gets wealthy. STOP THE WAR, HIS SOURCE OF INCOME IS CUT) also oil is another reason for the death wealth merchants. Now on the other side the middle east also has(no harm intended) selfish leaders who instead of protecting their own, they easily give away their country to terrorists and developed countries in return for wealth. 'Some' citizens of the middle east instead of directing their anger to the person responsible?, who are their leaders they shift it to innocent citizens in developed countries, blaming them for something they have no power over and from that we get suicide bombers and much more.
|
^I agree with most of this.

Extremism implies a small community where this kind of stuff happens, not a huge country with 30 million people.
Have you heard of civil discourse?

Go to Kuwait. Go to Dubai. Go to Lebanon. - they're quite stylish with what they wear.
Yeah. I've heard many things on the internet - does not make them true. :rolleyes.
.
Are you insane?
Like for real gurl, something is not right here. Saddam & Osama, ruled by FORCE - not choice.
|
I cannot
You must be in Alqaeda if you are
trying to defend them with stupid reasons.
Just thinking that everything women do in that country is a choice is absurd. It proves how much you sit on your lazy butt on ATRL all day
If woman choose to dress that way, then the government over there wouldn't be beating them in the first place.
If Osama and Saddam were forced, wouldn't they confess that they didn't want to do it when they were caprided/found?
Finally, it's on the News. On the news I watch, they even interview Muslims who approve these stories of how woman are treated.
I am going to my class right now, hopefully you enjoyed your first education class

Who cares about their economy? Get some basic form of human rights first, then worry about the economy.

I'm not trying to pin this on the "majority of muslims" I'm just saying support is more widespread than you'd think. Admittedly the fact that half of muslim boys at my school openly support al-qaeda is probably quite unusual (I think they're part of an extremist gang) but it's not as though there are very few muslims who support Al-Qaeda. I wouldn't call them real Muslims, though, because Islam teaches peace. Plus, as I said, A-Q targets anyone and everyone, including muslims.

So you think being gay or wearing trousers is as deserving of the death penalty as repeated rape or murder?

I stated innocent people that die. Also, no human has the power or right to choose who lives and dies that's why other states abolished THE DEATH PENALTY.One should be given a life sentence but death penalty??? that's too far. What does it solve, does it turn back time, does it bring back the dead one If you research, you will notice that some percentage of folks who go through rape or a family member was a victim of murder end up preferring life imprisonment to death for they no it solves nothing. Another school of thought can say life imprisonment gives the culprit time to regret and ponder over his past deeds while the death penalty gives him a peaceful sleep after some minutes of struggle.

The reason Muslims attacked us and killed our people was for a dumb reason. They thought we are disrespectful because women wear outfits that expose their face, arms, skin, etc. One day, "Allah" spoke to them and told them to kill some of us of for "sinning". And 9/11 happened and that's how it started.
Y'all must not know that they are fighting to protect our country and even Muslims in other Middle East countries because they are treated horribly everyday.

I can't at some of you people comparing Allah to God. How dare you even mention that cruel imaginary thing who approves abusing and killing women for not dressing as he wants them to

Allah literally means God. No one is "comparing". They're the same thing.
And God says women should cover up in EVERY Abrahamic religion. Why do you think nuns dress the way they do?
Just stop. You have no knowledge of what you say.

No, but it prevents that scum from going out again and killing another innocent person. I actually disagree with the death penality, I think life sentence should mean LIFE, and prison for serious crimes should be you in a cell getting fed twice a day, end of.
Can I also say that comparing Texas to Saudi Arabia is Beyond delusional. I mean dear god. Does Texas whip and stone women for wearing trousers?

Yes, but in the western world people aren't forced to cover up. Nuns choose to. The Women of Saudi Arabia must comply with the governments totalitarian law or face lashings. That's the key difference between Sane democracies and radical dictatorships. In Sane countries you only get punished if you harm someone, not just because you don't comply with a medieval interpretation of religion.

You're the one with no knowledge. If you didn't know, there are different religions that believe in different Gods.
Allah means God, but that ain't the
God I worship. I worship my savior, the Messiah that saved me from my sins and the one that created this Earth. Not the Allah that loves murder
Edit: Nuns choose to dress that way because that is there religion and they respect it. That's why the U.S. is for freedom.

Once again, Saudi law is an example of Extremism and does not represent the MAJORITY. Covering up is in fact, a choice. It should essentially be a woman's decision.
Go out. Find a scarved woman. Ask her if she's repressed. I 100% guarantee you that she'll say it does the opposite of repress, it EMPOWERS her as a woman. But don't take it from me, just go out and seek the answer yourself.
In my eyes, the sexual exploitation and the way the western world treats and represents it's women, especially in the media - Is repression. In the middle-east, a woman and her body are so highly regarded, that it shouldn't be exploited, but respected. That is why they cover up. But that isn't the topic at hand... And if you want to debate this, we can take it elsewhere.
It goes both ways. Who's to say your way is right? Open your mind, before assuming others are closed-minded.

If you didn't know, Muslims believe and love Jesus just as much as Christians.
Islam, Christianity and Judaism share the same prophets, the same stories and the same morals, the SAME God, with only minor differences because there's like a million different versions of the Bible. It's essentially, all the same.

Exactly you tool. Some Muslim women dress the way they do because it is THEIR body, THEIR religion and they RESPECT it.
This isn't a hard concept to grasp.
You're being a hypocrite & you don't even realize.

I know a woman who went to Saudi Arabia and was appalled at how she not only was forced to wear a burka, but also had very little rights.

What a load of crap. How is that in any way repression? Do you know what repression is? It's when the government forces strict and discriminatory guidelines onto someones life. What you just said is offensive to anyone who's ever lived in a repressive country.

"my way"? My way is that people can wear want they want. There is no law in America or Britain against wearing a burka. And yes, that is the right way. It's called freedom.

Just as there is no law that decides your code of dress in MOST middle-eastern nations. Those that are actually progressive and not run by extremists, that you're CONSTANTLY ignoring in every argument. Give me examples other than Saudi & Iran - we've established already that they're not what I'm talking about & I have noted the exception.
You say nothing of substance and nothing you can back up other than "I know a girl, I know a girl". I'm speaking from actual experience, from first hand knowledge, having LIVED in these places and actually being part of this culture. Bai gurl.

You seem to have the idea I'm out to prove all middle eastern countries are backwards I'm sure not every country is like this.
But Homosexuality is also punishable by death or imprisonment in Yemen, U.A.E, Syria, and Qatar. These are facts and I couldn't care less about your anecdotal evidence. Clearly any country with such a stance on human rights is messed up.
