Now, let's make something clear, I'm not deluded. I do not believe ARTPOP will sell as much as Prism in the coming weeks and Prism's number are in fact bigger, but not that bigger as some poeple make it out to be. Both albums are selling decent.

The reach 
The fact that PRISM is practically doubling ARTPOP's weekly sales even though it was released 3 weeks before 
And the fact that you subtracted over 600k (holiday sales) from PRISM to make ARTPOP look as if had sold more 
The gap IS big and it's just gonna keep on getting bigger and bigger.

It wasn't me who came up with the idea of cutting 3 weeks from Prism, though. And yes, it is a reach, I'm not saying it's not. Prism is selling more - with us so far?! It's selling more and it will sell more. The point is, the gap between the two is not that big as some of you, Prism fans, would want people to believe. Simple as that.

I beg to differ. PRISM has sold over 500k more than ARTPOP that's a pretty big gap. Ya'll need to really stop telling yourselves this, it's really not healthy.

I disagree. Katy has DH slaying right now, and Roar still selling. ARTPOP sales will decrease soon, ARTPOP has been discounted since day 1 and it had Black Friday and Holiday sales. But i don't see any longevity if she fails to release a succesful single.

Correct. They will decrease as soon as tomorrow, the discount on iTunes has ended. The only thing that could save it is, as you say, a succesful single. I still believe there are songs that could be big, but the GP is not here this era, so it will be difficult, but I still believe it could happen and help ARTPOP's sales.

Both albums are selling right now because they are relatively new releases. The Gap between both albums will be bigger by the time they release their 4th single.
