I don't even mind the comparison between a less-than-a-year long promoted 8 track EP and a two-year campaign for an album with a re-release and a film. You know we're comparing:
78 on metacritc including a 7.8 from pitchfork vs 52 on Metacritic
3 Grammy awards vs 7 nominations
2 IFPI entries vs 1 IFPI entry
+200 million grossing tour vs 60 million grossing tour
Three videos amassing nearly 1 billion views vs a whole catalogue of videos which I don't want to count
Again, that's 1 year and 8 tracks vs 2 years and + 15 tracks. I don't even have to say.
Chill, let in the light sis
Yes, cause all that matters when it comes to the comparing of which sounds better.
The Fame Monster and it's not even close. Katy will clutch onto that tainted 5 #1's record for the rest of her career, but her most successful era still lacked the global, pop landscape-changing qualities of Gaga's, Britney's or Beyonce's biggest eras.
It's both of them. The EP alone has sold around 6 million
What? The standalone EP has sold 3 million worldwide. The re-release TF+TFM sold another 6 and a half million ontop of TF's original 6-7 million. The EP did 3 million and TF (all deluxe and standard editions) did about 15 million.
TD is at something like 6 million with it's re-release included. Album sales goes to Gaga and by a mile.
