no males actually make POP music anymore. the closest thing we have to a big male 'pop star' is probably Bruno but his music is more R&B influenced than dance-pop
Because forum homosexuals relate to the "bad bitch" hair-flipping stuff that most pop girls do. Male pop stars don't do that.
We're arguing over why male pop artists aren't as risk-taking creatively as female pop artists. What does that have to do with your disgusting opinion on gay people?

Who is sayimg the men need to put on dress and heels? We are just asking for originality. Visuals would be cute too..chris brown is probably one of the only ones who caught my attention livefor a bit. He danced his ass off, had props and outfits...he had all the makings

Why we don't have a flamboyant or metro-sexual male artist ? simple as that because we live in a sexiest society. What is allowed for men is not allowed for women and vice versa. Besides, wasn't Adam Lambert the 21 century flamboyant artist but his coming out negatively affected his success despite his good pop albums and outstanding voice ?
Two we have a homophobic mentality in society; Kayne West and Miguel get dragged based on their fashion choices. Members of One direction and Justin Bieber get called negative adjectives demeaning their masculinity simple of their appearance/behavior.
And women are wearing dresses but in different colors, and shapes so basically it's the same.
How is it the same when we women have so many choices? And female body is always admired and talked about. If a male artist puts so much attention on his body or outfits, he's being called gay.
And I am not seeing this generation female artists doing anything risky other than exposing their bodies and promote their sexuality through their videos, the oldest trick in the book and everybody is getting sick of it, that's why artists like Adele & Bruno Mars took over, they don't sell anything but their music.
ATRL might call Miley's MTV performance risky but most people would call it pure desperation.
