ggotry. (Madonna moreso, obviously.) But Madonna always used it in her outspoken way and Gaga is sort of doing the same thing. Kylie isn't trying to be an advocate for the gay community the way they do. She isn't trying to point out issues. She's integrating herself INTO the community. She just happens to hang out with queer people all the time. She's a gay icon simply for being so at ease with gay people and gay imagery. She doesn't make it an issue or a statement. Could you imagine Madonna performing with The Scissor Sisters? lmao.
