It might be an album that requires you several listens to really appreciate it. It surely did for me. And I still have to be in a certain mood for it, and I mostly just listen to it when I know I'm gonna commit to listening to at least a large chunk of it rather than single songs. Over time I began to appreciate more and more the intricate details of the production and the wondrous lyrics. It's an album that can take me on a journey and grab my attention if I want it to but also an album that serves me perfectly as music while I study because it's perfectly servicable in the background without distracting me.
