This. I mean you know how many hours of work would go to waste for me to pay off $1000, whereas if people as rich as Justin can get away with paying this much (it's nothing for them), they'll just keep doing stupid **** and paying their ways out of it, aka Chris Brown.

Ok, so if he committed a real crime, and got less time because he's a celebrity, you'd be ok with that too from what I understand.
And it's not really a punishment because you get the money back when you show up to court.

Most people don't actually pay that much for bail because they get a bail bondsmen. The only difference is he is able to get his money back when he goes to court but regular people submit their 10% to bails men.

This is true. Justin and others should also be smart enough though, but I doubt paying this little will make Justin see the error of his ways.

His bail was only set at $2,500?
I have that times and times OVER in my bank account...
But he has MILLIONS...What is $2,500 to someone like him.
$2,500 is NOTHING.
$2,500 is not even a good shopping trip.
That's not right.

It probably won't but at least he got to experience being arrested which may influence his decisions from here on out.

But why though? According to you, he's rich and famous so he should get treated differently.

They can't charge people more because they have more money though, especially when poor people sit in jail because they can't afford their bond.
Those are the amounts determined for everyone whether you have no money or you're rich

If you can't afford it then get a bail bondsmen and only pay 10% of that amount. The only exchange is you show up to court.

It's not even that. It's the fact that he did something SO dangerous and got off SO easy. My manager at my job got a DUI a couple months ago, and he's STILL paying off stuff and he's up near $5K..

Not differently. I want him to FEEL equal punishment as anyone else.
I would say that life in prison for both a regular person, or Justin Bieber, after committing a murder, is equal. It is just as severe of a punishment for both parties.
A regular person being fined $1000, and Justin being fined $1000 is NOT equal to me. The punishment here is clearly more severe for one party.

Why are you so pressed over what you want him to feel? Girl, go get some fresh air and some friends.

Him being fined the same amount as everyone else is equal punishment.

Excuse me What does this have to do with my friends. I have lifelong friends which many people would wish to have, which is irrelevant to this topic.
