The insensitivity of some people in this thread.

There are very few famous people who will open up about these things and I applaud Demi for doing so. For "continously reiterating" her message that life is more than that. I don't see her stories part of her marketing strategy as it is very personal. And who wanted to be called retarded because they cut? No one. Demi is brave enough to take those nasty comments as she exposes her past. I hope people dealing with those type of issues get inspired by her. Life is too short for them to take it away themselves.
