There is NOTHING to be worried about. At all. Lana isn't lifting a finger for promotion at the moment.
Just because BTD performed that way doesn't mean UV will. She's no longer the girl fresh out of the gate and there aren't people itching to hear her music because of that. She's no longer a word-of-mouth act. She will now need hits, promotions and other types of exposure to sustain UV over the next few months or so.
Anyway she is a major popstar now so she will have to suffer like one with those drops and she will have to promote because as ppl has stated she ain't the "it girl" anymore but I will be fine if UV passes 2 million
Sam will go platinum, his getting hits and his promo has been on point, slay sis
King Ed getting those sales, the album is flawless so he deserves all that success, he will go platinum too if he plays his cards right.
I don't think Sam will be #1 next week because he's going to be up against Trey Songz. (And maybe Robin Thicke? Haven't heard from him, but he's scheduled to release something tomorrow.)
After that, though, I see him atop for a few weeks until 5SOS's album comes out, and once they're out of the way, Sam could be back on top for some more.
Lana's album is going to vanish quickly, and will not go anywhere near BTD's numbers. Sam, on the other hand, should be platinum by year-end.
