Right and they keep saying well Gaga didn't say she was our savior, yet they want us to treat her like one.

How so? It's an anthem that includes EVERYONE.
And even if is mostly about being proud to be gay, what does that have to do with this argument?

Right... so why are we moaning at her again?
And I don't believe anyone has ever claimed Lady Gaga's the savoir and speaker of gays. She's just a spoken supporter.
I hope this queen feels the same way towards Alicia Keys and her fight against AIDS.
Who the **** is she to think she can be the one to cure it, right?
I mean, please..

Nobody is saying she's your mother or your relative, but guess what? She is fighting for your rights and your right community while your fellow homosexual brothers aint doing **** but going to gloryholes and sitting on male hookup sites giving each other diseases, and then turn around and have the nerve to diss her when she catches all types of hell just for showing her support for gays.
She aint the first but currently she is the only popstar regularly fighting for us on a daily basis. It's nawt only restricted to gays. She speaks on all types of **** from our ****ed up government to injustice taking places in other countries that she doesn't have to concern herself with.
She aint Tila Tequila, making a gay dating show and claiming she got gay marriage passed in several states. That's the type of bitch y'all need to be "dragging."

And I will be as inappropriate as I want to be, especially since you think certain tunes can be called classics, but I digress.

Wow, I swear people on here can't think back to times before 2008.
Cher, Madonna, Barbra, Xtina.

Right? Horrible for someone that's HIV negative to stand up for the rights of those that are HIV positive. They can't understand, so they shouldn't be allowed to advocate for them.

Irrelevant.
If you're referring to my love for Only Girl & What's My Name?, I never called them classics.

Of course, she just wastes her time and receives nothing back. Brilliant

I still need to see the part where he said he had a problem with her advocating gay rights? All I saw was him giving his opinion on dishonest anthems and the overhyping of her as our savior, which I think lays more on her fans shoulders than her own.

LOL, people who think that Gaga gains more out of being so open about her affinity for gay people rather than just taking them for granted while still retaining their support (like other pop stars). I really wonder what world they're living in.
She alienates a lot of people who are made uncomfortable by her close relationship with the gay community when she doesn't have to. She would be MORE successful playing that down, but she chooses not to. I really don't see how this can be disputed by anyone who's looking at the larger picture of demographics.
No, you don't owe her fealty, but don't make it out like she's so self-serving in this regard when she isn't.

I guess they think gays taking their own lives is what gonna push us forward even though it's been taking place for the longest and no one seems to give a **** about it, but these "straight white women" in pop who they love to talk **** about.

Yes and them was referring to Katy, Gaga, and Ke$ha. And he didn't say prejudice, he said "what weve been through" referring to gay bullying, or gay bashing, racism, and etc..., lets get our **** straight. Im pretty sure at this point in their life no one is rushing to be sexiest towards 3 of the biggest pop stars in the world.
|
Yeah they are popstars now. They still went through **** to get there. They still experienced highschool. They experienced growing up as a woman. They have the knowledge to know what it feels like to be judged on something you cannot control such as gender. None of those songs are specifically about homosexuality so where does he come off saying songs like 'Firework' don't represent the gay community because Katy Perry is singing it. Katy didn't even write a gay reference in that song. That *** is reaching
Also 'Born This Way' refers to lots of different minorities including GENDER. And as far as I know Lady Gaga has a gender. Minorities experience prejudice. 'Born This Way' states ignore it, you're great the way you were born, gay, black, woman, whatever you are. Does he now have a problem with icons who have huge influence on the world making a positive impact. Because he can go get his 20 inch ***** and shove it so far up his arse that he won't be talking on camera again until Ke$ha reaches 100 million album sales.

Y'all think this guy is cute?
All I'll say is this: He looks like he spends a lot more time on his hair than he's ever spent on his education.

I agree with some of what he's saying, and I disagree with some of what he's saying. I'm on the fence.
He's cute, though.
