Just once! Rihanna is the only queen who have so many WW succesfull singles. And where do you live? When you live in the US, I can understand that you thing that Katy is WW. But I live in Europe where I can see that Rihanna is much more memorable!!!

Not that awards are at all relevant or even related to what this thread is actually about, anyway.

If anything Katy has a chance to win best rap/sung collaboration this year for Dark Horse. Now people will probably drag her back and forth and claim it's not a big award when majority of Rihanna's awards are in that category and aren't any mainstream grammy award

Like in Europe, Rihanna is much bigger. Katy has some songs like Dark Horse, Roar, and a few more that are big hits.
Rihanna's hits are countless. Remember: Diamonds, Stay, We Found Love, Where Have You Been, Only Girl, What's My Name, S&M, Man Down (huge hit here!!!), Rude Boy, Russian Roulette, Umbrella, Don't Stop the Music, Disturbia, Pon The Replay, SOS...
So I think that it is really clear right now...

Kids or teenagers are the same category! Rihanna has such fans but not that much! Why are you actually talking about someone who you don't even know!
You don't need that to say to me because I went to a Katy concert!

Lol Hot N Cold and IKaG are very remembered though Part of Me isn't and it shouldn't be because it's absolute trash.

They're 6 years old, they're not gonna be getting played on the radio all the time I can assure you far more people know I Kissed a Girl than Man Down or Russian Roulette.

I actually don't understand you, you live in the UK where Rihanna already has records! She has two years in a row the best female artist outside the UK at the BRITSs!

Well I would say Rihanna, even though I found her quite overrated here. Though, Rihanna's hits are more remembered worldwide, she has 2 or 3 classics for sure (Umbrella, WFL...)
In Europe, she's clearly bigger.

rihanna
she has definitive hits, katy's always seem to blend into the sound of the time and get lost in the mix no matter how big they are. firework is her most memorable song but even then its kinda just there. umbrella, diamonds, we found love, love the way you lie, and various other smaller hits seem to define a time in music as well as rihanna.

Rihanna's music will be remembered but some of Katy's jams will also get the shine they deserve like Teenage Dream and Firework. those will be timeless signature hits of hers. watch ppl make covers of them .
Rihanna just has a better discography and she takes musical risks. Rated R was an entire risky album/era tbh
